You can add extra hemp mats to your order. The mat and the hempshive bedding- and their complimentary hydro properties - combine to make the perfect cage / terrarium environment.

Slide the ChanvraPet Hemp Mat on a clean cage floor and cover with 1″ to 2″ of litter.
Change the litter every one or two weeks, and pull out any pieces of hemp mat that have been soiled (the bedding will absorb most urine).
Alternatively, for litter trained animals, the mat can be used separately, as a sleeping pad. The mat will not perform well as a litter on its own.
